Gin Martini
- Made with gin and vermouth, and garnished with an olive, or a lemon twist, or both.
Gin Martini (Classic version)
Ingredients
- 6 dashes of orange bitters.
- 1 oz. dry vermouth.
- 2 oz. gin.
- Orange peel, lemon peel, and or olives for garnish.
- Optional: 1/4 to 1/2 oz olive brine if a "dirty" martini is requested.
- Ice for stirring.

Construction
- Into a mixing glass add 6 orange bitters, dry vermouth, gin, and ice.
- Optional: Add olive brine if a "dirty" martini is requested.
- Stir thoroughly to chill drink.
- Strain drink into cocktail glass.
- Garnish with an orange peel or a lemon peel.
- Optional: Garnish with 1 or 3 (but not two) olives on toothpicks.
